RECIPES - Quick and Easy Many of the recipes on the other pages take considerable time and effort to prepare, reflecting the amount of work necessary to prepare the meals traditionally. It is not always possible to spend 3 hours (or 3 days) preparing meals however, so this section is dedicated to recipes that can be prepared in less than 1 hour! CAULIFLOWER
CURRY WITH TOFU A few notes on some Quick and Easy ingredients:
HERBES DE PROVENCE: Commonly found in French Provencal cooking, this is a mixture of rosemary, fennel, thyme, savory, basil, and lavender. TVP - TEXTURED VEGETABLE PROTEIN: Soy flour that has been defatted and pressed into a solid form. Comes in a variety of different sizes (think grain of rice to large cherry) and absorbs surrounding flavours wonderfully. Excellent source of protein without fat. © 1999-2004 KL Projects |
